Easson tries out BHRC

Jeremy Easson joined the Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship on the Mid Wales Stages over the weekend (26/27 June) and vowed to return after taking fifth in the post-historics in a Porsche 911 from the Tuthill stable. "I'm well impressed; it's absolutely brilliant," said a delighted Easson.The four-times National Group N champion and veteran of 19 RAC Rallies was having his first rally since the Sunseeker Rally in February and quickly adapted to the challenge of historic rallying. "It's been a bit of an eye opener; the pace was a lot faster than I expected," he admitted. "This is just a toe in the water and we've had an absolute ball!"Co-driven by Iestyn Ap Dafydd, Easson picked up his pace throughout the event and is now already looking at doing the Bulldog Rally in October as well as the Roger Albert Clark in November.The 911 that Easson drove contested the Historic East African Safari Rally last December, finishing fifth in the hands of Bruce Field. It was the 12th Porsche 911 to compete in the BHRC to date this season!
