In addition to his current duties as Production and Engineering Manager, Pierre-Yves Dujardin is to take over the overall technical management of Peugeot Sport with immediate effect. His work will include supervision of the design and rally team departments which will continue to be run by Michel Nandan. The latter will accordingly be able to concentrate more on the development of the 307 WRC.

Freddy Loix and Sven Smeets will compete in the ADAC – Eifel Rally (July 15th-17th) at the wheel of a 206 WRC run directly by Peugeot Sport as part of the crew's build up to the three forthcoming World Rally Championship asphalt rounds that figure on its programme.

Peugeot Sport will enter a third 307 WRC for Rally Finland (August 5th-8th) to be driven by Sébastian Lindholm and Tomi Tuominen.
