In the Banger Photos bangerphotos.com sponsored event, £500 is up for grabs for the winning team, who will also collect an impressive trophy from AKM Limousines.

The event is an unlimited festival of metal bashing with teams, ranging from 2 to 6 drivers invited to bring along the biggest and strongest material they can lay their hands on. American autos are permitted and the promoter expects a varied field of Jags, Volvos, limos, and assorted serious material, on the day from any Banger affiliation that wishes to send a team.

In addition to being able to field some choice material, engine swaps are permitted, allowing some of the old tanks to move (and crash) at speeds the factory never intended.

To date 8 teams, including 3 years running Ringwood Team Champions Team Elite, have singed up for the event with more from the major promoters on line to join the fray as drivers sign up team mates and source the material needed to compete in what promises to be a bruising affair.

West Country Videos will be capturing all the action on video and ace Banger snapper Karl Annets will be doing the same with photos for bangerphotos.com  Away from the full size action fans will be able to admire and buy the excellent scale Banger models from Autorex.

The day's fender bending begins at 11.00 and goes all the way through to 18.00, providing a great day's, value for money racing for all the family.
