for Grand Prix Party
The legendary voice of Formula One, and fans’ favourite Murray Walker, will be heading back to Silverstone on Sunday 11th July to get the 2004 Grand Prix Party underway.
The former F1 commentator will join a host of drivers and personalities on stage as the post-race celebrations continue into the evening of this year’s Foster’s British Grand Prix. Taking centre stage, Walker will open the show with his former colleague, ITV F1 Analyst Tony Jardine, who will be hosting the event alongside ITV’s pit lane reporter Louise Goodman, and former British Grand Prix winner Johnny Herbert.
Fans will be delighted to see Walker return to the home of British Motor Racing to mix it on stage with some of the biggest names in motorsport, and a host of stars from the world of music, including the Beach Boys and Jenson Button’s fiancé Louise Griffiths.
Another famous face performing at the open air concert, held for the second year running on the inside of the world famous circuit, will be team boss Eddie Jordan who will be kicking off proceedings with his rock ‘n’ roll band ‘V10’.
Entrance to the Grand Prix Party is free for all race day ticket holders, and will take place on the inside of Maggotts immediately after the final race.
Last year over 10,000 fans stayed behind to enjoy a spectacular finale to the Foster’s British Grand Prix weekend.
