Jordan faces busy week

Sutton Coldfield teenager Andrew Jordan faces the busiest week of his motorsport career to date when he races in two Junior Rallycross events at opposite ends of the country on consecutive weekends. On Sunday 11 July, Andrew will compete in the latest round of the BTRDA Rallycross Championship at the Lydden circuit in East Kent, while a week later (Sunday 18 July), he will contest round six of the British Junior Rallycross Championship at the Pembrey circuit in South West Wales.Even though he is competing in the Junior category, Andrew (15) is currently leading the BTRDA championship overall and will be battling to retain his advantage at the Kent circuit in his Mini. The following week, the Pembrey circuit represents a new challenge for Andrew who will be racing at the Welsh venue for the first time. He currently lies a superb third in the British Junior Championship and will head to Wales aiming to at least maintain that position.Having recently completed a round of school exams, Andrew breaks up for the summer holidays a couple of days before Pembrey, so he will be able to concentrate fully on his racing until early September!
