Wales Rally GB is going to be a gripping end to the Summer, when the World Rally Championship teams come to Wales to compete on 19 challenging stages, this September.

The Championship· There are 5 WRC teams - each of the teams taking 75 people to each of the events· The teams cover 16 rallies in 11 gruelling and adrenaline pumping months, taking them across three continents · The manufacturers taking to the roads this year include:-Subaru-Ford-Mitsubishi-Peugeot-Citroen
Making it happen· 40 - 50 tyres will be used by one rally car throughout Wales Rally GB· 3,000 marshals give up their time to provide vital support and ensure the safety of the spectators throughout the Rally· There are 5,700 marshalling points along the route· The Swansea Rally Centre at Felindre covers 200 hectares and saw some 30,000 spectators pass through in 2003· The Subaru team alone requires 50m of terracing and 180 square metres of flooring in the service area · Every amateur and private entry is allocated 100 sqm at the Swansea Rally Centre at Felindre
