Racecar has re-designed the Renaultsport website, www.renaultsport.co.uk, so that Renaultsport drivers can while away the few hours in the day when they can actually be torn away from their cars. Visitors to the re-launched site can catch up on the latest information, news, videos and images of the three Renaultsport models: Clio 182 and V6 255, and Mégane 225, as well as details of Renault UK's considerable motorsport activities past and present, including Clio Cup and Formula Renault.

While they're surfing the site, visitors can also entertain themselves by chatting online with like-minded Renaultsport enthusiasts in the new 'Forum' section, watch video footage of the Mégane 225 in action and even hone their gaming skills with the new interactive computer games, as well as order brochures, book a test drive or even a reserve a place at one of the exclusive Renaultsport trackdays at Palmersport.

The phenomenal success of high performance Clios made by Renaultsport is often attributed to a combination of driver entertainment, performance, style and exclusivity. Well now Renault has upped the ante even more with the launch of Renault i.d., a new programme for Renaultsport customers looking for greater individuality for their cars.

The "individual design", or i.d., programme has been designed specifically for discerning drivers looking to add a touch of exclusivity to their high performance Clio Renaultsport 182 or V6 255 with special paint and interior trim options.

The Clio Renaultsport 182 is already available with several options to enhance its sporty on the road presence, including the popular 'Cup' spoiler and suspension packs, and the striking white competition stripes only on the Racing Blue version in celebration of Renault's Gordini motorsport heritage.

Split into Special Paint and Visual or Touch Leather Packs, the new i.d. programme combines a range of bodywork and interior trim colours, with the Special Paints available on both the 182 and V6 255, and the Leather Packs on the V6 255.

The Special Paint collection comprises five Illusion effect body colours, of which three are exclusive to the V6 255. Lunar Grey (V6 only), Deep Bronze (V6 only) and Petrol Blue, all of which change colour shade depending on the light, through to eye-catching Liquid Yellow, and, not for the shy and retiring, Acid Yellow (V6 only).

In case the standard mix of dark grey leather and alcantara seat and door trim isn't exclusive enough, Renault's designers have come up with a range of Leather Packs to enhance the appearance of the mid-engined V6's interior too. These are available with any of the standard metallic paint finishes or the optional i.d. colours.

There are three Leather Packs available - Visual, Touch and Complete, in a choice of five colours of hand-sewn, soft Nappa leather: beige, blue, brown, dark grey and light grey. With the Visual Leather Pack the upgraded interior benefits from fascia inserts, and a leather-covered steering wheel, gear lever gaiter, handbrake cover and gaiter.

The Touch Pack offers full Nappa leather seats with embossed Renaultsport logo and door panel inserts, while for the last word in customisation, customers can opt for the Complete Pack which includes all of the above, plus leather covering the whole of the rear engine compartment, with alcantara headlining and windscreen pillars.

The Visual and Touch Leather Packs cost £750 and £1,750 respectively, with customers able to save £200 by buying the two packs together for £2,300. The Complete Leather Pack costs £3,900 and each of the Special Paint colours are £1,150.
