Oliver Wilmore will rejoin the John Cooper Challenge for the double-header meeting at Silverstone over the weekend of 7/8 August.Wilmore will race the Club Class car run by the Oxford Associates Race Team as its regular pilot James Loukes is committed to taking part in a charity event at the same time. Loukes will be tackling a charity bike ride from Land's End to John O'Groats in aid of 'Prospects', a charity that provides housing for the mentally ill and disaffected. Instead, Wilmore will return to the championship for two races, having been a regular competitor in 2003. The 25-year old engineer finished 18th in the final 2003 points standings and has also raced an MGRV8 in the BCV8 Championship.Loukes will be back in the MINI for the final three John Cooper Challenge races of the season, starting at Rockingham on 29 August.
