19-year-old Italian driver Giacomo Ricci has signed on with Vergani Formula and he will be driving side by side with Giovanni Tedeschi. Ricci has already participated in the last meeting of the Spanish Formula Junior Championship where he finished 4th last year; this season he has also raced in the Euro F3000.

The Milanese driver has signed a deal with Vergani Formula for the rest of the season with 5 meetings left. If Ricci is to stay next year in the World Series, this is an excellent introduction to the Dallara Nissan V6, although the car will feature a completely new set up.
