The first weekend of the 2015 GP2 Series didn't provide Trident with the results that were awaited and expected before the beginning of the season. In today's sprint race, both drivers started from the back and a double comeback was expected. Unfortunately though, the car driven by Binder was forced to retire in the opening lap due to a contact, while Marciello, who suffered from high tire degradation as well as some of his opponents, was called back to the pits with ten laps to go to switch to the Option Soft prime. The pit-stop pushed Lello back in 20th place, but enabled him to evaluate the car's set-up on the softer tires, collecting a valuable feedback for the team in terms of the next few races. Both drivers and the whole Trident squad are looking forward to the next round of the series, scheduled in less than two weeks at Barcelona. The Spanish track will also host the opening event of the GP3 Series.Il primo week-end di gara della stagione 2015 di GP2 non ha regalato a Trident i risultati tanto attesi e desiderati. Nella Sprint Race di oggi entrambi i piloti partivano dalle retrovie. Ci si aspettava una gara di rimonta con tutte e due le monoposto, ma purtroppo la vettura di Binder è stata costretta al ritiro per un contatto avvenuto durante il primo giro mentre Marciello, che come molti altri suoi avversari ha sofferto di un forte degrado di gomma, a pochi giri dal termine della gara è stato richiamato dal Team per effettuare il pitstop e montare il set di gomme Option Soft. Ovviamente lo stop ai box ha riportato Lello in ventesima posizione ma gli ha permesso anche di valutare l'assetto della monoposto su gomma soft e di raccogliere ulteriori dati per le prossime gare. Il Team ed i piloti sono già proiettati alla prossimo round della GP2 che si terrà a Barcellona in meno di due settimane e che vedrà l'inizio anche del Campionato GP3.
