Rch Suzuki Regroup For New Jersey Supercross

Broc Tickle’s streak of consecutive top-10 finishes came to an unfortunate conclusion with just two laps to go left the RCH Soaring Eagle/ Jimmy Johns/ Suzuki Factory Racing rider 11th in the final rundown of Saturday night’s Monster Energy Supercross race at Levi’s Stadium. The RM-Z450 rider was competitive throughout the program and raced as high as eighth but lost the handle on his Suzuki after getting together with Justin Barcia in the late goings of the Main Event to come up one spot short of extending his streak.Despite just missing out on a top-10, the Holly, Michigan rider holds down eighth in the 450SX point standings. With two races remaining on the 2015 schedule, Tickle trails seventh-place Jason Anderson by 20 and is just 22 back from Blake Baggett in sixth.“We were good, speed-wise, throughout the day,” said Tickle. “I felt comfortable on the track. We made some changes and all of those moved us in the right direction. I felt pretty good in my heat race and qualified for the Main without having to race through the Semi.“I got something like a 12th-place start and was able to pass some guys and get up to eighth but I ended up tangling with (Justin) Barcia and I went down and ended up 11th. It wasn’t the result we wanted. It’s frustrating each week to keep saying we need more but that doesn’t change the fact that we want and expect more.”Monster Energy Supercross heads back east this weekend when the series returns to the Garden State for the second-to-last stop of the indoor season at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
