New season kicks off for Javier Ibr�n at Paul Ricard

The driver of Buggy Experience Racing Team, who claimed the Spanish GT championship last year, besides defending his national crown will take part in the Euro Series by Nova behind the wheel of his reliable Ginetta G55, the same car which so many satisfactions brought him in 2014. Ibrán will race alone at Paul Ricard.Javier Ibrán and Buggy Experience Racing Team approach their first racing event of the year in new Euro Series by Nova, an exciting European championship where the Spaniard will drive his Ginetta G55, with which he won the Spanish GT series last year. For Ibrán it is his comeback on the international stage after his successful background in championships such as the Maserati Trofeo World Series or the Belgian BRCC.“It is shaping up to be another exciting season, after our national campaign in 2014 in Spain. Our goal is to defend our Spanish title but in addition we are looking forward to joining this new thrilling GT4 championship organized by Nova Race. They are a new series organized by such a professional staff and look promising in the short-term. We are expecting a good start for Buggy Experience Racing Team, with my car and two other Ginettas on the entry list”, Ibrán explains alluding to the G55 cars driven by Toni Castillo / Gianpiero Cristoni and Alberto Vescovi. He also stresses “Paul Ricard brings me good memories, because I have already raced there in the past. It is a challenge to live up to this because there are very seasoned drivers and teams on the entry list. We approach with due caution next weekend, and we will set our goals after this season opener”.Two free practice sessions on Friday will serve as appetizer for Saturday´s qualifying sessions at 12.00. Both races take place on Sunday, consisting of 50 minutes each, and scheduled at 09.55 and 16.30.
