Round 1: Rowrah, 25-26 April

Sam Webster won both finals at Rowrah, while Scott Allen leads the championship after strong results in the heats.

Scott Allen took the initial lead in Final 1, chased hard by Shaun Slavin and Webster. Slavin snatched the lead after a few laps, then Webster also overtook on the twisty Cumbrian track. Reigning champion Henry Easthope briefly held third but had to settle for fourth.

In the second final Allen chased after Webster, having already passed Slavin. That led to three different kart and engine combinations on the podium, with Allen leading the championship. “Sam was a little quicker in the final but I took too much out of the tyres in the heats,” said Allen.
