Jeffrey Herlings to race at Maxxis British Motocross Hawkstone Park

The Maxxis British Motocross Championship will soon be nearing the half way point in the Championship and where better than the most prestigious circuit in the UK - Hawkstone Park, Shropshire, SY4 4NA on the 7th June.

The Salop Motor Club have secured a fantastic attraction for the weekend in the form of former World MX2 Champion, Jeffrey Herlings. Jeffrey missed the International this year in February as he was still recovering from injury but he is a big fan of the circuit and was keen to make an appearance there this season.

Jeffrey will race the factory Red Bull KTM at the Hawkstone Park round on June 7th at the fantastic idyllic Motocross track. With round three this weekend at Canada Heights and the current standing seeing Shaun Simpson, Tanel Leok and Kristian Whatley leading the MX1 series and Ben Watson, Steven Lenoir and Adam Sterry top three in the MX2 series it will certainly be a good day out at Hawkstone Park in June.

Gary Ford - Hawkstone Park - "We are delighted to have got Jeffrey to come to the Hawkstone Park British MX in June, this is a huge thing for us and great he has agreed to race in the British Championship. We really missed him this year at the International but he did say he would come back, just earlier than we expected. We are really pleased he is now fully fit and agreed to do this at this awesome track and it gives the fans a huge opportunity to watch one of the best riders in the World. We look forward to welcoming him back to Hawkstone Park and the UK."
