In the Norwegian race of the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) at Mo i Rana, title defender Fredrik Ekblom clinched a podium position.

Having started from third place, the Swede in his Audi A4 STCC captured second place in race 1. In the second race, Ekblom finished fourth. The Audi driver thus reduced the number of points he’s ranking behind Robert Dahlgren - the runner-up in the standings - to eight.
