Double Header for Darren Law

The August 6-8 weekend will be a busy one for Darren Law as he will compete in both the American Le Mans and Rolex Grand Am sports car endurance seriesLaw's double-header weekend starts with the Brumos Red Bull Porsche Fabcar Daytona Prototype in the Rolex Grand American Mid-Ohio Road Racing Classic.  The 2 hour 45 minute endurance event is scheduled to start Saturday evening at 5:30 pm CST.

Immediately following the Grand Am event, Law will board a chartered jet for the trip to Mosport, where he will join the Flying Lizard Motorsports team to compete in the ALMS Toronto Grand Prix of Mosport, to be held Sunday at 12 noon EST.  Law and co-driver Johannes van Overbeek will attempt to maintain the GT driver's championship points lead with the team's   #45 ShoreTel/eSilicon/Brocade Porsche GT3 RSR.

Law realizes the demands that such an intense schedule can place on drivers and their teams.

"It's going to be a busy weekend for sure," remarked Law. "It's going to be exhausting doing these races back to back but I'm looking forward to it, and I think we have a good shot to do very well at both events. I have to thank Brumos and the Flying Lizard Flying Lizard guys for being so flexible and allowing me to do both events."

The Rolex Grand-Am Mid-Ohio Classic will be televised at 8 pm EST Aug. 7, on The Speed Channel.  The ALMS Toronto Grand Prix at Mosport will be carried live by CBS Sports from 2-4 pm EST Aug. 8.
