An incredible line-up of unique and exclusive motorsport-themed auction lots will go under the hammer later this month at Hexagon’s charity evening, ‘The Life of Ayrton Senna’.

Raising money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity, the event will bring together a star-studded panel of experts who will share their memories of the three-time world champion.

Thanks to the enormous generosity of the motorsport community, Hexagon is proud to announce some amazing charity auction lots, which will be available for bidding on the night - many of which represent a once-in-a-lifetime ownership opportunity for motorsport fans.

There are ten auction lots in total, ranging from a pair of Roman Grosjean race boots, signed by the Lotus F1 driver himself, to a copy of McLaren’s own Senna book, signed by Mclaren F1 Team Principal Ron Dennis.

Other highlights include a replica Senna helmet, signed by current F1 World Champion and Mercedes-Benz F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton, a VIP private tour of the Williams F1 factory and Grand Prix Collection – donated by Williams F1 - and a remarkable collection of unique Senna photographs from the man who documented Senna’s career like no other, Keith Sutton.

Perhaps the star auction lot, though, is a pair of VIP weekend paddock passes to the British GP, donated by Bernie Ecclestone.

The full list of auction prizes is as follows:

1) Roman Grosjean race boots, signed by the Lotus F1 driver himself 2) Framed set of signed Jenson Button race boots 3) McLaren’s own ‘Senna’ book, signed by Ron Dennis 4) Eddie Jordan TW Steel watch – donated by Eddie Jordan 5) Ferrari GTO dashboard artwork, signed by artist Emilio Saluzzi 6) VIP tour of the Williams F1 Grand Prix Collection and private factory tour 7) Collection of three montages of iconic Senna images shot by Keith Sutton 8) Canvas of Ayrton Senna by artist Paul Oz 9) Senna replica helmet signed by Lewis Hamilton 10) VIP weekend paddock passes to British GP – donated by Bernie Ecclestone

Both the Williams F1 VIP tour and British GP paddock passes will be available for pre-bidding via a silent auction: jumblebee.co.uk/GOSHSenna. Those who make the highest bids in the silent auction will win a pair of tickets to the celebrity-filled evening – and the chance to secure these unique lots on the night. The silent auction will close at 7pm on the 29th June 2015.

Hosted by Sky F1’s Natalie Pinkham, very special speakers on the night will include Mercedes-Benz F1 Executive Director Paddy Lowe, Williams F1 co-founder Patrick Head and ex-F1 drivers David Coulthard and Martin Donnelly. The event will also be joined by Manish Pandey, writer and producer of the brilliant 2010 film, ‘Senna’.

One of the most talented, charismatic and controversial racing drivers of all time, Ayrton Senna’s life was tragically cut short at the San Marino Grand Prix on May 1st 1994. His legend continues to grow – and the panel will have many stories to share with the audience. There will also be a Q+A too.

Set in the surroundings of Hexagon’s north London showroom, guests will also be able to view an ex-Senna 1987 Lotus 99T F1 car, while Michelin-starred chef, Christian Honor, will supply an Asian buffet.

Paul Michaels, chairman of Hexagon Classics, said: “We are overwhelmed at the generosity from our friends in the motorsport community who have donated some incredible gifts for our charity auction. This is set to be a truly amazing evening and I am so happy that we will be able to give something back to Great Ormond Street and the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals, helping them to continue their incredible work.”

‘The Life of Ayrton Senna’ celebration evening will take place at 7pm on Tuesday, June 30th at Hexagon’s north London showroom located at 90 Fortis Green, London, N2 9EY.

Tickets cost £185 and are almost sold out. Interested guests are asked to RSVP as soon as possible to: Annabel@hexagon.uk.net or call 07711 169 111
