Cor Euser won both races of the Euro GT Series during Marlboro Masters of Formula 3 at Circuit Park Zandvoort on 7 and 8 August, making his 500th race a real celebration. Duncan Huisman with the works BMW M3 GTR had a hard fight with David Hart, Pertti Kuismanen (both Chrysler Viper) and Jos Menten (Marcos LM600). Duncan and David both won a second and a third place. In N-GT Class it was V8 Star Audi A6 driver Thomas Mutsch who took a firm lead and the highest place on the podium before René Snel (Porsche GT3 RS) and Pieter van Soelen (Marcos Mantis).
Race 1
Cor Euser with start number 500 as a tribute to the number of races under his belt after this event, took the lead from pole position. He was followed closely by Duncan Huisman in the works BMW M3 GTR before Herman Buurman, Jos Menten (both Marcos), David Hart, and Pertti Kuismanen (both Chrysler Viper). Cor used a safety car situation smartly by making his compulsory pit stop quickly to stay in the lead. Duncan made his pit stop later and re-entered far back in the queue. The fight for second place between Hart, Menten, Buurman, Kuismanen, and Huisman was decided in the one but last lap, when Pertti spun off giving second place to an exhausted David Hart. Duncan was catching up in the end but had to be happy with third place.
In Class N-GT Thomas Mutsch (V8 Star Audi A6) led from start to finish. Behind him Boy Zendveldt, René Snel (both Porsche) and Pieter van Soelen (Marcos) had a dice for second place. Pieter and René spun off together but came home second and third.

Race 2
Also in the second race it was Cor Euser who was away first, but this time Dutchman Rob Knook with the Stealth came through in second place. He could not follow the pace and was overtaken by David Hart and Duncan Huisman. These two had a good battle during the rest of the race, even the compulsory pit stop did not change this. Duncan could snatch away second place when David was held up by an N-GT car. Behind them Pertti Kuismanen en Jos Menten had a good dice until they touched in the last lap and Jos had to give up.
The N-GT race was a copy of their first race. Thomas Mutsch took a firm lead to win the race before René Snel and Pieter van Zoelen.
