Trident GP3 race 2 round up

The duo of Ghiotto and Trident were able to stay into the points zone in the final race of the weekend at Silverstone and the Vicenza-based man, part of the Aci Team Italia, is still holding the point in the GP3 Series standings. Oscar ended up the race in 10th place while Janosz had his run jeopardized by a first-lap contact.

27 - LUCA GHIOTTO

The second race of the British GP3 round enabled Ghiotto to retain the series lead thanks to a seventh place captured with great determination. After starting in fifth, the Italian got a little too much wheelspin at the start and lost positions during the first lap. He quickly got back in attack mode though, and put together several great passes to end up seventh, once again into the points zone.

28 - OSCAR TUNJO

Colombian Oscar Tunjo got a great start and managed to get into the top-10 during the first lap, holding onto the position until the checkered flag fell. The lack of passing opportunities on the British track didn't help him and prevented him from scoring valuable points. Oscar held a consistent pace although he stared to suffer from tire wear late in the race. Tunjo and Trident are already looking forward to the next round at Silverstone where they are confident they will put together some better results.

Starting Position: P11Final Position: P10 26 - ARTUR JANOSZ

The Sprint Race was conditioned by a first-lap contact for Artur. Janosz, who was starting from the 9th position, moved away really well and got four positions. Unfortunately though, he was forced to give space to a car that pushed him off the track in order to avoid more damage. The manouver cost the Pole several positions down to 18th and it was really tough for him to attempt any move from there.  Artur was happy for the results achieved over the weekend, and he's excited to get back on-track at the Hungaroring, a venue where he performed really well in the past.
