A pair of Bowler Wildcats which have previously been put through their paces on the Paris Dakar Rally, will form part of the fleet for this year’s Wales Rally GB.Bowler Off Road, specialists in the manufacture of fully built bespoke turn key vehicles, is providing Wales Rally GB with two vehicles for the double and triple zero cars.  Featuring state of the art engineering and styling, the vehicles look like something out of ‘Judge Dredd’ and are expected to give spectators added excitement – even before the competitors go through each stage.Bowler Off Road use a custom built suspension system mated to a Bowler designed tubular space frame and chassis, making their vehicles ideal for the rough terrain of the Wales Rally GB route.  Indeed, the outlandish vehicles have participated in some of the world’s toughest rallies including the Paris Dakar.The two vehicles on loan to this year’s event will be the Bowler Wildcat 200, the team’s latest design.  Built using GRP external panels, design engineered for performance and painted in striking designs, the Wildcat is expected to be able to drive through the rough terrain of the Welsh forests without any problems – essential in the role as the double and triple zero cars.Andrew Coe, Chief Executive of Rally GB Limited, comments, “The Bowler Wildcat is remarkable looking and the two vehicles being loaned to us by the Bowler Off Road team will certainly be turning heads as they go through each stage before the competitors arrive.  “Wales Rally GB provides the Bowler Off Road team with a great opportunity to show off their specialist expertise to rally fans, as well as providing us with vehicles that we know we will be able to trust for the important double and triple zero cars.”
