Officials from Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) and JSI Logistics announced today that the global logistics and supply chain management service provider has been named an Official Partner of the second edition of the HSR Classic 24 Hour at Daytona, presented by IMSA, November 11 – 15, at Daytona International Speedway.

A top-tier provider of customized supply chain solutions, JSI Logistics has a global presence and thousands of team members throughout the world. The company specializes in comprehensive transportation, distribution and value added logistics services to companies of all sizes, from start-up ventures to large multinational corporations.

The partnership with HSR will see JSI sponsor the Classic 24 Hour at Daytona’s JSI Logistics Drivers Lounge. Planned to be located in the Blue Garage area on the grounds of Daytona International Speedway, the JSI Logistics Drivers Lounge will offer refreshments, snacks, meals and an environment for drivers and crews to relax and watch the action going on around them.

“As a worldwide provider of supply chain solutions, JSI Logistics works hard to provide customized solutions 24 hours a day,” JSI Logistics President and CEO James Cullen said. "Just like racing, logistics requires speed, timing and teamwork; this competitive nature and perseverance-to-the-finish attitude of the teams and drivers in the Classic 24 at Daytona reflects the daily can-do attitude of our team at JSI Logistics. This is a complementary partnership with HSR and we are honored to be associated with this event.”

The JSI Logistics Drivers Lounge will also give competitors the opportunity to sit down with other drivers and teams from all over the world to compare race stories and establish future friendships. The Lounge will be open starting Wednesday, November 11, of race week for lunch. Thursday and Friday will have lunch and dinner available with the JSI Logistics Drivers Lounge opening Saturday morning of race day and not closing until after the Classic 24 Hour at Daytona takes the checkered flag on Sunday afternoon. Registration and pricing information for the JSI Logistics Drivers Lounge will be announced in the near future.

The list of current and legendary drivers already confirmed for the Classic 24 at Daytona includes Bobby Rahal, Hurley Haywood, Gijs Van Lennep, Patrick Long, Scott Sharp, Zak Brown, Jeff Zwart, Jim Pace, Shane Lewis, Mike Skeen, Gunnar Jeanette and many more.

The equally impressive racing machines these drivers and other Classic 24 competitors will race in the Daytona event is a rolling collection of top sports cars and prototypes from the past 50 years.

The next event for HSR is the Atlanta Fall Historics at Road Atlanta, September 18 – 20.
