Dunlop Supersports grid grows

The biggest grid to date for the Dunlop Supersports Championship will feature at Donington on Monday 30 August. A highly encouraging 17-car field will gather for the pair of races forming rounds 11 and 12 of the 2004 season as the championship continues to attract new competitors.Along with all of the regular championship contenders, Jeremy Smith (Nemesis RME03) will make a welcome return to racing after missing several rounds. The Donington grid is further boosted by an influx of Radicals usually seen competing in the Welsh Sports and Saloon Championship. Former WRDA champion Terry Brown, Huw Williams and Richard Rohzon will all join Supersports regular Peter Williams on the Donington grid."We are delighted that the Supersports grid is growing and is now at a representative level," said a spokesman for the National Supersports Association. "We expect an equally strong, if not stronger, field for the final two races of the season at Silverstone on 18 September."With a dedicated class for 1300cc Radical Prosports, the Supersports Championship represents an excellent opportunity for Radical owners to race in a competitive and cost-effective series.
