Fast Freddie, 15 year old karting ace Freddie Martin-Dye, goes to Mariembourg, Belgium, next week, to contest the finals of the European Championship for Formula Intercontinental 'A' (ICA) Freddie qualified for the Final by taking part in a qualifying race meeting with an entry of nearly a hundred drivers at Lavelenet, in France, where Freddie recorded a win, two seconds and a fifth in his four heats, to put him on the front row for the qualifier final.

Freddie then qualified for  the final in Belgium by finishing fiftheenth, recovering strongly despite being hit from behind by another driver.
