SHEFFIELD have unveiled local lad Nathan Greaves as the second member of their 2016 side. The talented 17 year old, a two-time British 500cc Under 16 Champion, has been snapped up to fill the No.7 role now reserved for riders eligible for the National League following Premier League rule changes.Greaves rode for Workington this year but saw his campaign ended by a badly broken leg in June.Co-promoter Damien Bates said: “We are happy to have agreed terms really quickly with Nathan. He was the first person we wanted at No.7 and we had no issues at all.“He wanted to ride for us, he lives locally in Chesterfield and used to be the mascot so it's a perfect fit really. He has plenty of guts and isn’t scared. Nathan’s a rider who will always give it his best and that's the sort of rider we want at Sheffield.”
