Vauxhall’s Luke Hines led all the way from pole position to win the second of Sunday’s three Green Flag British Touring Car rounds at Snetterton, Norfolk.
Hines took the second BTCC win of his career ahead of WSR MG driver Anthony Reid and SEAT Sport UK’s Jason Plato, who came through from 11th on the grid and also set the race’s fastest lap for a bonus point. Reid was the highest-placed HarrierZeuros Independents Trophy finisher.
Vauxhall’s Yvan Muller was fourth and, as a result, has closed the gap to team-mate and championship leader James Thompson to five points ahead of Sundy's third race.
