The Renault Clio Cup returned to the Misano track this weekend after the last race on July 25th and for Luca Casadei the result was the same. the Italian driver from Forli, took 2nd on the podium in the Junior classification.

In the general classification Luca is still in 12th place.  However, this result brings him one step closer to the leader of the Under 25 category: Rinaldi. There is an 18 point difference between the two with 2 rounds left in the championship.

“This race was more or lass a photocopy of the previous race competed on this same track in Misano; a track that I don’t particularly like.

"17th on the starting grid, I tried to avoid any dangerous contact that may occur at the start if you’re in the centre of the group and concentrated on getting the car to the finish line.  My Clio, just like the Clios of my team-mates wasn’t perfect and my performance suffered due to this. Luckily, the next two races aren’t going to be on the Misano track. In Adria and in Monza, I will do my best to get the lead in the under 25 classifications. It won’t be easy but I’ll do my best.”
