BJARNE Pedersen will still race in the Ben Fund Bonanza despite this week’s news that he will not be in Lakeside’s Elite League line-up.The Hammers released Pedersen earlier this week due to fixture clashes, with Lewis Bridger taking the team position for the Hammers, but the Dane contacted organiser Paul Ackroyd to confirm he will still be at King’s Lynn on March 12.Ackroyd said: “He’s such a nice guy, that was really good of him, he was concerned that I might think he would pull out after leaving Lakeside.”The BSPA have donated first prize for the raffle on the day, which will be tickets for two to each of the SGB Major Events this season. There will also be children’s attractions including tattoos from ‘The Speedway Nut’ and balloon specialist Twistopher.

STUART Robson says he is excited by the prospect of returning to Rye House after an absence of nearly a decade. The experienced Robson is looking to bounce back from an injury-hit 2015 campaign and is also eager to get racing on a modified home circuit. He said: “It’s great to come back to Rye. It’s a great track, and I love it down here. I’m really looking forward to it.“There is a lot of investment going into the club, including the changes happening to the track. Previously we only really had around two-thirds of the track that we could actually use on the first and second bends because of the adverse camber.“I had such a bad season last year that I knocked about two points off my average. I really should be putting the two points back on, and that’s the aim.”
