Steve Clark is the latest driver to join the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and will make his championship debut with Team RPM at Donington Park (25/26 September).Clark will join the team for the final two races of the season to compete alongside Tim Harvey and Eddie Wighton. He brings 10 years of top-level karting experience as well as a season in Formula Ford Zetec. This season he has raced in a range of single-seater races, including Clubmans Zetec and Monoposto, scoring a series of wins. Now, the Stourbridge racer will make his Carrera Cup debut as a lead in towards a planned full campaign in 2005. "We're looking at next year with Steve and so this is a toe-in-the-water exercise," says team boss Robin Mortimer."I've known Robin for some time as I used to race karts with his son Alex," explains Clark. "I just want Donington to go well and then do a full season in 2005. I'm hoping to qualify mid-pack and finish in the top six or seven. You don’t get a much better team mate to learn from than Tim Harvey!"
