Rallycross - Jordan bids for title

Sutton Coldfield teenager Andrew Jordan will head to Scotland this weekend (Sunday 26 September) with a real chance of securing his first motorsport championship title.Andrew will compete in the latest round of the BTRDA Rallycross Championship at the Knockhill circuit near Dunfermline and has a real chance of sealing not only the Junior crown but also the overall Clubmans title.Even though he is competing in the Junior category, Andrew (15) is currently leading the BTRDA championship overall and a strong result in Scotland could give the teenager his first title. However, even if things don’t go to plan at Knockhill, Andrew still has two more opportunities to put the title beyond reach, as the series will then conclude with events at Pembrey (South Wales) on 3 October and Brands Hatch (Kent) on 30 October. The closing weeks of the rallycross season is one of the busiest times of the year for Andrew as October also means the final two rounds of the British Championship, with events at Mondello Park (Ireland) on 9/10 October and the season final at Brands Hatch on 31 October
