Law, Donohue, and Brumos Porsche Travel to Virginia for Grand American Rolex VIR 400
Grand American Rolex Sports car series regulars Darren Law, David Donohue and the entire Brumos Porsche team will be joining all the other Grand American Daytona Prototype teams as they tackle the challenging twists, turns, and elevation changes of Virginia International Raceway for the VIR 400 October 1-3. The VIR 400 marks the 10th round of the 12 race Grand American Rolex series 2004 schedule, and the entire #58 Red Bull Brumos Porsche squad is hoping to end the season on a high note.
VIR is arguably one of the more demanding circuits on the Grand American Rolex schedule, and Law has logged his share of test miles at the circuit, cementing his comfort on the undulating road course nestled in the rolling hills of southern Virginia.
"When I was driving for G & W Motorsports we used VIR as our main testing facility," remarked Law. "I guess one of the big advantages of having experience at a track like VIR is that we can get down to the business of car setup as soon as we turn a wheel for the first practice session. And for sure, setup is going to be a very important part of being competitive there."
Following the contact at the Homestead race, the Brumos crew has worked hard to ensure that a competitive car will be available for Law and Donohue at VIR. The hard work the crew has done has not been lost on Law.
"The Brumos guys have been working super hard to get the car ready," said Darren, "and I'm hoping we can get them a solid finish this weekend."
