Jose Pedro Fontes will again line-up alongside Chris Goodwin in the teamsNo. 8 Saleen in Dubai this Friday for the tenth round of the FIA GTChampionship.  The team are looking to a strong result after the successfulpairing secured a podium finish at Oschersleben in 3rd place.

That race was also Portuguese born Pedro's debut in the 2004 FIA GTChampionship and his first outing in the Saleen S7R.  He quicklyfamiliarised himself with the car and drove a strong race alongside Chris tocollect the teams best result of the season.

His motorsport career began over ten years ago in the Portuguese NationalFormula Ford Championship and he has since won the title twice, in 1995 and1997.  He collected another title in 1999 in the Portuguese NationalChampionship of Speed driving an Alfa 147.  Most recently he has contestedthe National Rally Championship in his home country, finishing 2nd in thestandings in 2000/2001 and 3rd in 2002 driving the Fiat Punto Super 1600.In 2003 he finished 2nd in the Vitoria Absoluta Vodafone Golden Cup and hehas made a return to the National Rally Championship this year with theMitsubishi GP.N.
