GP3 podium for Trident's Antonio Fuoco Silverstone Race 1‏

5 - ANTONIO FUOCO

Young FDA driver Antonio Fuoco struggled in qualifying, mainly because of a late red flag thrown in the final five minutes of the session when he was preparing for a flying lap. For the feature race, the Trident driver was forced to start P7.As usual, Antonio was off to a quick start and moved up to the fourth position during the opening lap. With an aggressive race made of precise passes, Antonio ended the day in a remarkable third place, scoring his first Race 1 podium of the season.

7 - GIULIANO ALESI

Giuliano Alesi had a really positive comeback with the Trident GP3 team at Silverstone.Despite being a rookie and lining-up for the first time at the British venue, Giuliano ended up 10th in qualifying, keeping many experienced drivers at bay. Unfortunately, an early mistake saw him lose positions down to the 18th spot.The Frenchman didn't back down though and fough back to end the Feature Race in 16th place.

6 - ARTUR JANOSZ

After a tough qualifying session, Artur Janosz delivered a massive comeback in the Feature Race.With a good start, he quickly climbed up several spot. As he did not suffer from any type of tire degradation throughout the race, he crossed the line in a great seventh place.Unfortunately though, the Polish racer received a 5-second penalty for track limits, and was demoted to the 9th position.

8 - SANDY STUVIK

On the other hand, Sandy Stuvik had a positive day in qualifying, setting the third fastest lap after ending up P1 in practice. Following to a penalty assessed to Charles Leclerc though, the Thai man had the chance to move up to the front row in P2.With a good start, he managed to hold the position for the first ten laps, before starting to suffer from high degradation on his left front tire.The issue impacted his second half of the race as he lost positions before crossing the line in 8th place.
