15 - LUCA GHIOTTO

Despite a troubled start that brought him down to 6th, Luca showed his character and determination by tracking down fellow countryman Antonio Giovinazzi before passing him for P5.From the half point on, Luca put together a spectacular series of passes and moved up to second place, right behind the leading car of Jordan King. Despite his attempt to pass the British racer for the lead, tire degradation prevented him from accomplishing the feature. He then crossed the line in an extremely valuable second place, recording the fastest lap of the day (lap 3 - 1:44.199).
