Duno & Wallace head to Barber 250

CITGO Racing Duo Looking To Climb In The Championship  Standings

CITGO Racing's Milka Duno and Andy Wallace will look to keep their 2004 Rolex Sports Car Series Championship hopes alive this weekend at the Barber 250 at The Park at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, October 8-10.

"I really like our chances this weekend in Alabama. The team was very successful during testing at Barber in July and we're hoping our hard work pays off in the race," said Milka. "It's been an incredible season for the CITGO team and we're still very much in the championship hunt with two races remaining.  Our last two results have been great and we're looking to carry that momentum into the weekend."

Milka and Andy enter this weekend's Barber 250 on a roll, after piloting their #2 CITGO Pontiac Crawford Daytona Prototype to a third place finish at Virginia International Raceway last weekend, and capturing their second win of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway in September.

The Barber 250 at The Park, run on a 2.3 mile, 16-turn circuit, will begin at 12 Noon EST on Sunday, October 10.  Race action will be broadcast live on the SPEED Channel. The Rolex Sports Car Series’ season finale will be held at California Speedway, October 29-31.

In 11 races this season, Milka and Andy have captured two race wins, posted four podium finishes and had nine Top Five appearances.  With two races remaining, Andy sits alone in third place in the Driver Point Standings and Milka stands alone in fifth place. The CITGO Racing Howard-Boss Motorsports team is currently third in the Daytona Prototype Team Point Standings.
