JJ Lehto and Marco Werner are seeking a record with Team ADT Champion Racing’s Audi R8 in the final round of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) at Laguna Seca (California). In their first season together as co-drivers, the Audi drivers have already won six races, thus tying the record of Allan McNish and Rinaldo Capello from the 2000 season. By winning also at Laguna Seca, Lehto/Werner would be the first drivers of the series to take seven overall race wins in a single season.

The race starts on Saturday at 4 p.m. local time and will end at dusk after four hours. On Sunday, Laguna Seca will host also the final round of the SPEED GT World Challenge. Audi driver Michael Galati leads the series prior the finale by four points.
