Spedeworth Southern proudly plays host to the mighty Brisca Formula 1 Stock Cars, when they thunder into Wimbledon Stadium on Sunday October 17th at 6pm as part of their Golden Jubilee Tour.

Brisca F1 Stock Cars, powered by their massive American V8 engines, always put on a spectacular show as the big cars thunder around the circuit at top speed, removing the opposition with their massive front bumpers and testing the Wimbledon safety fence to the maximum. With the Brisca's celebrating 50 year of Stock Car racing in the UK, this year's appearance is going to deliver some extraordinary racing as the drivers go all out for a win on this special anniversary race meeting.

There will be more all-out speed and action from the Lightning Rods as the Ford Sierra based rods take to the track to battle it out for the London Championship. The big and brutal Lightning Rods provide breathtaking racing action as the cars race bumper to bumper around Plough Lane. The drivers give no quarter in this non-contact formula and the price of such merciless racing is very often a punishing visit to the unforgiving Wimbledon safety fence.

To complete a night of non-stop racing thrills the 2.0 Hot Rods will compete in the final of their Grand Prix Series. These rapid non-contact cars, costing thousands of pounds to build, always have the crowd on their feet as the drivers travel around the circuit at extremely high speed with only the drivers split second decisions making the difference between glory or disaster on race night.
