To help The Stroke Association!
Calling all thrill seekers - would you like the chance to be driven full throttle by motor racing heroes around one of the UK's most established racing circuits? This once in a lifetime opportunity is being offered at The Stroke Association's 'All Car Day' on Saturday 23rd October at Castle Combe Circuit, Wiltshire.
The Stroke Association's All Car Day is an annual event that is now in its tenth year. Over 2,000 people from across the country are expected to turn out for the day. Racing legends Barry Williams, Simon Taylor and John Chatham will be on hand to give participants a drive in a car of their choice including Porsches, Jaguars, Corvettes, Subaru Imprezas and Austin Healeys.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to live their dream for as little as £30 whilst helping others at the same time," said John Williams, Fundraising Manager for The Stroke Association in the South West.
"Our annual All Car Day is a thrilling family event that will help The Stroke Association raise vital funds for our community support services. It promises to be a fantastic day out, and would also make a memorable and affordable gift for someone special."
The All Car Day is sponsored by salesforce.com in conjunction with StreamServe Inc. "We are delighted to be supporting this year's All Car Day being held by The Stroke Association," commented Steve Garnett, Senior Vice President and General Manager of salesforce.com EMEA and StreamServe board member.
"Over 130,000 people each year have a stroke. This event will help raise vital funds to support all stroke patients, their families and carers who have been affected by this devastating condition. We are very pleased to get behind this event, which will help make a real difference to people's lives."
During the one-hour driver's lunchtime, visitors to the All Car Day are welcome to drive their own cars around the circuit for a small donation. Attendees are advised that racing is not permitted.
