Unlucky week-end for Romeo Ferraris at Buriram

The Thai round of the TCR International Series at Buriram came to an early end for Romeo Ferraris' team.

The Italian squad, which supports Mulsanne Racing, has been forced to withdraw its car from Race 2 after the damage sustained in Race 1. Still, the weekend's take-away is far from negative, as Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR proved competitive and Petr Fulín was running eighth when he was stopped by a technical failure. The Chang International Circuit was an interesting test, as the track's design is clearly different from the ones of the other rounds, and has allowed to take note of the progress made by the team Romeo Ferraris in recent months.

Claudio Bortoletto, Team Manager“Unfortunately, a technical problem occurred in the lap before last, when we were in P8. This sent the car out of the track and against the barriers. The damage sustained and the very short repair time in-between races prevented to get the car ready for Race 2. It's a real pity because the lap times were good, as proven in qualifying, when we were tenth within 4 tenths of a second. Now we will focus on the next round at Singapore, in the framework of the F.1 Grand Prix and at night, and look forward to Michela's return alongside Petr".
