Championship contenders to parade Indy cars on San Francisco's famous Embarcadero

Fans are invited to see cars, drivers and Astor Cup at PIER 39

Verizon IndyCar Series championship contenders Simon Pagenaud and Will Power will pilot their competition Indy cars along the Embarcadero roadway in San Francisco with the championship trophy, the Astor Challenge Cup, leading the field in a two-seat Indy car. The series culminates its championship this weekend at Sonoma Raceway with the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma.

RACE FANS: Bay Area race fans are encouraged to cheer the drivers on along the Embarcadero, and are invited to see the cars and drivers at PIER 39 at noon.
