Sutton Coldfield teenager Andrew Jordan is preparing for one of the busiest weekends of his motorsport career as he heads to Brands Hatch this weekend (30/31 October) for the deciding rounds of two season-long championships.Andrew heads to the famous racetrack in Kent firmly in the hunt for the runner-up position in the British Junior Rallycross Championship. Having recently won the BTRDA Junior title, 15-year old Andrew will be up against some incredibly tough rivals in the British Championship finals. Along with two other drivers, Andrew is in the running for either second or third place, so the final races of the season on Sunday could prove to be full of drama. But before that, he will also be racing on Saturday in the final round of the BTRDA Rallycross Championship. In fact, Saturday is the most important day for Andrew, as he has a strong chance of adding the overall BTRDA Championship title to the Junior crown he has already won. If he finishes in the top three in the BTRDA final, he will be overall champion regardless of what anyone else does. What is certain is that it will be a high-pressure weekend with a full programme of races on each day. If it goes to plan, Andrew and his family will have plenty to celebrate on Sunday evening!
