WS finale in Jerez

The World Series by Nissan will celebrate its Final Round in Jerez the next 7th of November. After 7 years of success, Renault will replace the Japanese manufacturer in a brand-new project, World Series by Renault, starting in May 1 2005.

The last two races of the current Season in Jerez will close a long and reputed list of Title Winners: Marc Gene (ESP), Fernando Alonso (ESP), Antonio García (ESP), Ricardo Zonta (BRA), Franck Montagny (FRA), and the recently crowned Heikki Kovalainen (FIN). Jerez will be the place to be if you don’t want to miss the last run of the impressive Dallara Nissan cars.

Heikki Kovalainen and the Pons Racing team became the 2004 Driver and Team Title Winners after the meeting of Valencia but the Series is  still in search of the other two drivers that will complete the top three positions.

Tiago Monteiro (POR) has achieved 4 victories in his first Season (including his doubble win at Zolder) and Enrique Berloldi (BRA) has already grabbed two important victories. -  the list of  candidates also includes   JC Ravier (FRA), Tristan Gommendy (FRA) and Narain Kartikheyan (IND).

Damien Pasini makes his debut in the World Series by Nissan competition

 GD Racing has a  new driver for Jerez, Frenchman Damien Pasini, former Formula Renault V6 driver  who tested the Dallara Nissan SN01 car in Valencia..
