MSA British Rallycross Championship

Former champion Ollie O’Donovan won the final round of the 2016 championship at Croft in North Yorkshire, his second victory in succession, to come out on top of a three-way battle for second overall in the championship standings.

The Irish driver beat five-time champion Julian Godfrey in both the final round and the championship points, as 2016 champion Dan Rooke retired from the event in the qualifying stages with engine problems.

Multiple British Rallycross champion Pat Doran completed the podium. Tony Lynch secured the MSA Supernational Rallycross Championship title and Sam Jones won the MSA Junior Rallycross Championship crown.

The following day Liam Doran Liam Doran overcame transmission problems to take a lights-to-flag victory in the Procters Coaches MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix. Rooke and Godfrey completed the podium.
