Mud, sweat and tears, Volkswagen Amaroks prepare for next round of WRC

Volkswagen Amaroks are preparing to take on the challenges of the penultimate round of the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship which takes place in Wales this weekend, supporting both Volkswagen’s championship-winning team and event organisers in the forests across the country.

The Amarok is the perfect vehicle to tackle the tough conditions in Wales. The supporting models are equipped with a powerful 2.0-litre bi-turbo TDI engine, an eight speed automatic gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive to ensure the best drive; while inside the Highline spec means the drivers are guaranteed a comfortable weekend – regardless of the conditions outside.

Volkswagen Motorsport has once again had a very successful season, having clinched the Drivers’ Championship* title at Rally Spain earlier this month. And based on the current standings, it is in a strong position to claim its fourth consecutive Manufacturers’ title in Wales.

The Amarok is currently available with extra equipment at no additional cost, such as satellite navigation and stylish chrome pack, as well as with a number of competitive finance offers including zero per cent APR on stock vehicles on Solutions Personal Contract Plan**. A new model is due to be launched early in 2017.
