2017 CarFest tickets on sale from 8am Thursday morning

• Chris Evans to open box office during his BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show • Two more family festivals raising funds for BBC Children in Need • The fun continues in 2017 at Bolesworth International and Laverstoke Park Farm Tickets for next summer’s pair of fun-fuelled CarFest family festivals will go on sale on Thursday morning (10 November) during Chris Evans’ Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2.First introduced by Evans in 2012, CarFests feature a medley of great cars, fabulous food, live music plus an intoxicating mix of entertainment to enthrall and inspire all ages. To date the ten previous sell-out extravaganzas have provided unrivalled entertainment for more than 500,000 festival-goers and raised many millions of pounds for BBC Children in Need. Visitors have been treated to hundreds of the world’s most amazing cars plus live music performances from top bands including Take That, Kaiser Chiefs, Bryan Adams, Stereophonics and Status Quo. Building on that remarkable success, in 2017 CarFest North will return to Bolesworth in Cheshire (below top) from 28-30 July with CarFest South remaining at its spiritual home of Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire (below middle) over the 25-27 August Bank Holiday weekend.The first tranche of tickets for both festivals will go on sale at 8am on Thursday morning and are expected to sell-out swiftly.
