REBELLION Racing take 8th WEC LMP1 Privateer pole in Bahrain

REBELLION Racing secured their eighth LMP1 Privateer Pole Position of the season for today's 6 Hours of Bahrain race, the closing round of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Alexandre Imperatori and Dominik Kraihamer in the Rebellion R-One AER #13 were the fastest of the LMP1 Privateers and secured the seventh fastest time of the qualifying session. Dominik Kraihamer and Alexandre Imperatori achieved an average lap time of 1:45.091 and a fastest lap of 1:44.637. It’s a 1.6 second gain on last year’s qualifying time.The Rebellion R-One AER #13 will start tomorrow's race from the fourth row on the grid.

Dominik Kraihamer - Rebellion R-One AER #13 : «My lap was not as good as I expected, I made a mistake at turn 1. We can be pleased with the job done on the car. We have a good setup for the race and I hope that we will have a clean one. Ending the season with one more class win would be the best way to reward all our team for their amazing job.
