Next year, the Honda Ron Haslam Race School, led by GP legend ‘Rocket’ Ron Haslam himself, celebrates an incredible 21 years of helping motorcyclists to ride faster and safer.

Offering expert guidance from experienced instructors, the Honda Ron Haslam Race School offers people the experience of riding on the Donington Park GP circuit, an introduction to high performance motorcycles, and the opportunity to improve skills and understanding.

Together with Honda motorcycles, the school has designed a programme to suit all needs from introductory level riders, through to a more advanced level, catering for all ages and abilities.

Announcing the news, Ron Haslam said: “It is absolutely phenomenal that we are going into our 21st year at the Ron Haslam race school. It’s a remarkable achievement to have the continued support of Honda, Donington Park, and of course all our loyal customers. We can’t thank them enough. The Ron Haslam Race School is like a big family for all of my team, and Donington Park is the school’s true home. The support we’ve had has been incredible.”

Demonstrating the school’s strong backing from Honda UK, customers on the school’s Elite experience will be able to ride the all-new 2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.

Riders on the Premier Experience get the chance to test the limits of the super sport CBR600RR, while riders booking an On-Track Experience can try either a Honda CBR125R, CBR300R or CB500 for size.

Ron continued: “For the last 20 years we’ve been helping people get onto motorcycles, ride better and ride safer, and we can’t wait for the new season to start. Our first school next year starts in April. Personally, I can’t wait to get our hands on the new 2017 Fireblade. I’ve heard so much about it, and can’t wait to ride it myself.”

The news about the race school caps a memorable month for Ron Haslam, having recently collected the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the Derby Telegraph Sports Awards.
