Castle Combe Sponsorships confirmed

Two of the Castle Combe circuit’s home grown championships have tied up their sponsorship deals for the 2017 seasons. After a three year absence, National Windscreens, which first became associated with the Castle Combe circuit in 1993, is returning to sponsor the ‘Saloon Car’ championship for 2017.George Douglas, Chairman at National Windscreens said, “We have missed having our name associated with what is probably the best circuit based saloon car championship in the UK. I am pleased to see it is in even better health than when we left it, with some phenomenal cars, which our clients can relate to and which are also very exciting to watch.”The circuit’s Formula Ford 1600 championship will again be backed by the Wiltshire College. The college’s motor sport courses are run at a purpose built £500k facility at the circuit, where some of the students help prepare cars used in the Castle Combe championships. This year the college supported and ran local driver Ben Norton who drove his Spectrum to 2nd in the FF1600 championship, also winning the prestigious end of season ‘Carnival’.Information on the 2017 championships is available online at http://www.ccracingclub.co.uk/
