Mark Hoppe became one of few drivers to have won the Warwickshire Car Trial in both a front-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive car.

Hoppe drove perfectly all day, dropping just 11 points over 32 hills, to take a dominant class and overall win from brother-in-law Shawn Franklin.

Reigning champion Rupert North returned in his yellow Mini, to take a class win and third overall ahead of local man Philip Buckle.
