With less than six weeks to go, anticipation is building for Classic Nostalgia as Shelsley Walsh prepares to welcome thousands of motorsport enthusiasts for its flagship historic motorsport event on 18–19 July 2026.

 

Set at one of the world's oldest motorsport venues, the much-loved event combines competitive hill climb action with legendary drivers, iconic race cars, historic demonstrations, live entertainment and open paddock access. From Formula One legends and Can-Am monsters to NASCAR V8s and World Rally Championship icons, visitors can get closer than ever to motorsport history.

NEW FOR 2026 – HISTORIC RACING NEWS LIVE STAGE
New for 2026, the Historic Racing News Live Stage brings motorsport stories to life with interviews, guest appearances and autograph sessions, all included with general admission.

 

From Le Mans and Formula One to touring cars, rallying and the Isle of Man TT, hear first-hand stories from some of motorsport's most celebrated figures, including Richard Attwood, Les Thacker, Mike Wilds, John Fitzpatrick and Stuart Graham, with more names to be announced.


RALLY GREATS RETURN 
Ralli22 returns with an incredible line-up of Group B, Group A and World Rally Championship cars tackling the famous Shelsley Walsh hill climb.

 

Celebrating 25 years since Richard Burns' 2001 World Rally Championship triumph, highlights include a special reunion of former Prodrive team members, the Safari Rally-winning Subaru Impreza demonstrated by David Lapworth, and a daily raffle offering the chance to win a passenger ride in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
 

WHERE THE CARS ARE THE STARS 
Prepare for an unforgettable celebration of motorsport engineering, where the cars take centre stage. From Formula One legends and Can-Am monsters to Bonneville record-breakers and iconic hill climb machinery, Classic Nostalgia brings together an extraordinary collection of competition cars spanning more than half a century of racing history.

 

Highlights include Michael Schumacher's Benetton B192, Rubens Barrichello's Stewart SF1, Patrick Tambay's Haas Lola THL1B, the final Formula One car built by BRM, the mighty Lola T160 Can-Am, Roy Lane's McLaren M10B F5000 and the World's Fastest Jensen fresh from the Bonneville Salt Flats.


NASCARS & V8 ACTION– BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND
A dozen NASCARs return to Shelsley Walsh with ex-Kevin Harvick machinery delivering full-throttle V8 spectacle. Joining them are UK V8 stock cars, the Andy Rouse-liveried Dolomite Sprint, Escort Mk1 BDG and the record-setting DAF saloon.


CLASSIC & SPORTS CAR CONCOURS
The popular Concours returns for pre-1985 vehicles, judged by Simon Taylor, John Mayhead (Hagerty) and Classic & Sports Car magazine.

Classes Include: Pre-WW2; 1949–1959; 1960–1985 Saloons; 1960–1985 Sports/GT, plus Best in Show and Judges’ Choice.


EXHIBITION OF SPEED RETURNS
The Courtyard Barn once again transforms into the Art of Motorsport Gallery, showcasing leading automotive artists from across the UK. Discover original paintings, sculptures, photography and motorsport-inspired artwork, meet the artists and take home a unique piece of automotive art.


VISITING CAR CLUB DISCOUNT
More than 20 car clubs will be attending Classic Nostalgia, including milestone celebrations for Porsche Club GB (65 years), Jaguar Drivers' Club (70 years) and the Midland Automobile Club (125 years). 

 

Registered clubs benefit from discounted entry, prime display parking with dedicated space for groups of 10 or more vehicles.
