each for Monaco and Brands Hatch Auctions

COYS famous Legende et Passion Monaco auction will take place on Saturday May 10th at the Espace Fontvielle when some 60 plus classics will go under the hammer.

Amongst the cars on offer will be a 1959 Arbarth 750 Bialbero record Monza an ex Swiss GT Championship car (60,000 to 90,000) a 1958 works supported Austin Healey that took part in the 1962 and 1965 Monte Carlo Rallys estimate 180,000 to 200,000 and a Porsche 550 RS.

Two rare Ferrari shooting brakes are also up for grabs a Luigi Chinetti Ferrari Daytona shooting brake from 1972, and the last Vignale bodied Ferrari 330 GT shooting brake (refer department).

In the automobilia section will be Signed Jim Clark and Peter Arundel items from a former Team Lotus employee. A number of helmets and race suits from a notable worldwide collection.

In the Brands Hatch auction, which takes place on Sunday May 25th and also incorporates The Excellence of Porsche , is an ex Le mans Porsche 911 GT3 RS from 2,000 estimated at 55,000 to 75,000, A 1965 Lotus Elan which competed in the Bahamas Speed Weeks in 1965 and 1966, (35,000 to 45,000). An Aston Martin DB6 Mk 2 Volante, estimate 250,000 to 300,000, a rare 1939 Malcolm Campbell designed Bentley overdrive four and litre, estimate 100,000 to 140,000 and a 1972 Ferrari Dino barn find. In the Automobilia and collectors part of the sale will be an Ayrton Senna section - featuring items from the son of the late Marketing Director of Team Lotus, and with pictures of the vendor, as a lad, with Senna, It will also feature the front wing of the McLaren the late Triple World Champion crashed at Monaco and a private, fresh to market motor racing enthusiasts library.
